Terms of service

The service

RankRoot checks how readable a website is for AI search engines and agents and generates suggested fix files. Scores and suggestions are automated estimates. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or that any AI product will mention or recommend you. Review generated files before publishing them.

Acceptable use

Only audit sites you are allowed to check publicly. Do not overload the service, bypass rate limits, resell API access, or use RankRoot to harm other sites. We may block abusive traffic.

Paid plans

Paid plans are sold through Polar, our merchant of record, whose terms also apply to the purchase. The Traffic Boost is a single payment that features one product launch on RankRoot for 30 days and includes 7 days of Pro access; it never renews. We don't guarantee a number of visitors. A Traffic Boost is non-refundable once the launch is published. The AI Visibility Employee is a monthly subscription: you can cancel anytime from the Polar customer portal, and it stays active until the end of the paid month. It is a service of AI-assisted work on your site's AI visibility; we do not guarantee how any AI engine ranks, cites or recommends you. License keys are for your own use and may not be shared publicly.

Launches

You may launch only products you own or are authorized to promote. Launch pages are public. We may edit obvious formatting problems and remove launches for gambling, adult content, get-rich-quick schemes, sites that don't load, anything illegal or misleading. Featured placements are labeled "Featured" because they are paid.

Your content and public reports

Audit results for public websites may be shown publicly on RankRoot, including in reports, the AI Visibility Index and badges. Our privacy policy explains what we store.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, RankRoot is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
